eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result #095 HEADIN' EAST glass slide '37 Buck Jones Date Sold 2/19/2002Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. Original Vintage Theatrical Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Headin' East, the 1937 Ewing Scott New York City cowboy western ("Crashing New York to smash a crime trust!"; "Blasting Manhattan mobsters!") starring Buck Jones, Ruth Coleman, Shemp Howard, Donald Douglas, Elaine Arden, and Leo Gorcey (one of the original "Dead End Kids", in a rare solo appearance!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. There are very minor stains on the cardboard holder, as is common with glass slides. The glass slide itself is in wonderful condition!. This glass slide is one of an amazing collection of 36 glass slides from films of one of the all-time great cowboy stars, Buck Jones! It would take a lifetime to find all of these glass slides again!
