Important Added Info: Note that we have called this a re-release, but it is very possible that it is from the first U.S. release of this movie. Ingmar Bergman did not achieve fame in the United States until the early 1960s, and it seems likely that his earlier movies were then given arthouse releases in the U.S. for the first time. If anyone knows for sure one way or the other, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
