An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Frances Gifford was an actress from the 1930s to the 1950s. Some of her movies include: Thrill of a Romance, Jungle Girl, and Tarzan Triumphs with Johnny Weissmuller. She suffered severe head injuries in a 1947 car accident which greatly affected her career. As a result of her injuries, her physical and mental health declined and she was eventually admitted to a California mental hospital in 1958. After 20 years, she recovered and spent her final years in quiet obscurity, passing away in 1994 at the age of 73. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Frances Gifford! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahoney Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
