Note that only the two items at the top of one of our images (which have "STAR WARS" and the NSS number at the bottom) are originals from 1977. All the rest of the items are REPRODUCTIONS or postcards. Measurements: 8" x 10"Star Wars is an American epic space opera franchise created by George Lucas in 1977. The first film in the series, Star Wars (which was later subtitled Episode IV: A New Hope) was released in 1977 and became a worldwide phenomenon. It was followed by The Empire Strikes Back in 1980, and Return of the Jedi in 1983 (these three films are considered "the original trilogy"). The "prequel trilogy" (The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones & The Revenge of the Sith) was released between 1999 and 2005. In 2012, The Walt Disney Company acquired Lucasfilm and they began to release new Star Wars films including: The Force Awakens, Rogue One, The Last Jedi, Solo and more! The series has spawned books, television series, video games, comic books, toys, and many other products. Note that the items in this lot are from the 1970s to the 1980s.
