An Original 1960 (from the first release of this movie in Japan) Vintage Theatrical Tri-Folded Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20 1/4" x 28 5/8" [51 x 73 cm]) (Learn More) Europa di notte (released in the U.S. as "European Nights"), the 1959 Alessandro Blasetti French/Italian mondo-like night-life exploitation documentary ("The night life of Europe comes to town ...in this great color spectacular!"; "Join the after-dark-to-dawn cabaret whirl and thrill to some of the world's brightest entertainers!") featuring Carmen Sevilla, Domenico Modugno, The Platters (the rock and roll music band including David Lynch [NOT the famous director!], Herb Reed, Paul Robi, Zola Taylor, and Tony Williams), Channing Pollock, Henri Salvador, Coccinelle, Robert Lamouret, The Rastellis, Colin Hicks, Hans-Joachim Kulenkampff, Lily Niagara, and narrated by Henry Morgan. Note that this was one of the approximately 100 "sexy nocturne" mondo style documentaries that were produced between 1959 and 1970, mainly in Italy. They are documentaries that include segments of strippers, which allowed them to include nudity that had formerly only been seen in nudist movies. The strippers are shown performing their acts, and there was an attempt to film them artistically. Most of these films contain one or more of the words "world", "night", "sexy", "girls", etc. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned one in all our years of auctioning and that was in 2009! Note also that this poster was tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical machine fold) but because it would be more expensive to send flat, it will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster was tri-folded only and there are a few small creases and tears along the folds (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
