An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Australian One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27 1/4" x 39" [69 x 99 cm]) (Learn More) Pretty Woman, the 1990 Garry Marshall Los Angeles California prostitution romantic comedy ("She walked off the street, into his life and stole his heart.") starring Richard Gere, Julia Roberts (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Ralph Bellamy (in his final movie role), Jason Alexander, Laura San Giacomo, and Hector Elizondo. Note that Richard Gere appears in this movie with silver grey hair. Apparently, the producers worried that viewers would be turned off by this, because the standard image that was used on almost all the posters show him and Julia Roberts (actually, it's Shelley Michelle's body with Julia Roberts' head!), and he has dark hair! But they needn't have worried, because the movie was a giant success! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this Australian one-sheet, which measures 27 1/4" x 39" [69 x 99 cm], is very interesting! It was printed in Australia, but it was used in Egypt, where Egyptian writing was written at the top of the poster and glued to the bottom of the poster in the form of stenciled letters. But what is most interesting is that apparently Julia Roberts' bare legs above her boots and her midriff below her shirt could not be viewed in Egypt, and a large black sticker was created, giving her new pants that almost completely covered her bare midriff and her exposed legs (but oddly, not quite!; see our image). Depending on how you look at it, this is either a massive detraction, or a really fun addition (we will leave that to the bidders to decide). Condition: fair. The poster has had several alterations by the Egyptian theater that used it (see above). Please do not bid on this poster unless you clearly understand how it was altered.
