If anyone knows more about this illustration, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. Someone took a two-page spread from a French book and removed those pages and had them linenbacked. The pages had some tiny paper loss down the center, with some darkening. Overall, the pages were in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking.
