Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of some foldlines. It had a foreign stamp in the top right corner. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but at some point after it was backed, it acquired water staining down the right edge, which affected both the excess linen and the poster in some areas (see our image).
