An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 26 3/4" x 41 1/4") (Learn More) Doctor Crippen (released in the U.S. in 1964), the 1962 Robert Lynn English crime thriller ("If you want to remember your wife, send flowers. If you want to dismember her... See Dr. Crippen"; "Did he really do the monstrous things they said he did? Here is the TRUE, terrifying story of Dr. Crippen."; "The crime of the century! was he really guilty?"; about the real-life story of Dr. Hawley Harvey Crippen) starring Donald Pleasence (in the title role as Dr. Hawley Harvey Crippen), Coral Browne, Samantha Eggar, Donald Wolfit (billed as "Sir Donald Wolfit") and James Robertson Justice (billed as "Guest Star James Robertson Justice"). IMPORTANT UPDATE: Recently, DNA forensic scientists in England determined with near absolute certainty that the body of "Mrs. Crippen" was not in fact Mrs. Crippen at all, thus indicating that the legendary Dr. Crippen likely did not kill his wife (as he claimed), and may well not have killed anyone at all! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good to fine. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and just a few tiny tears in parts of some foldlines and minor border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
