An Unfolded Special Poster (measures 20" x 28" [51 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Dixie Vaudeville Show Talkies, the 1920s poster promoting a show which was held at the Dixie Theatre. The Dixie Vaudeville Show operated from at least the early 1900s to the 1920s. As this poster mentions "talkies" we imagine they included sound shorts during the stage show in the late 1920s. Note that we have three versions of this poster with very different images. One has a white minstrel singer in blackface, one has an artwork image of a pointing clown, and one has stylized art of a sexy ballerina. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Condition: very good. The poster has pretty minor fold wear with some pinholes around the edges. The top 3" has not darkened somewhat as the rest of the poster has, likely because there was once a snipe in that area. Learn More about condition grades
