An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Romeo & Juliet, the 1924 Reggie Morris & Harry Sweet silent romantic comedy short (about performers at a vaudeville theater, and Ben Turpin is playing Romeo opposite Alice Day's Juliet, and a beautiful belly dancer tries to come between them) starring Ben Turpin (in the title role as Rodney St. Clair/Romeo), Alice Day (in the title role as Betty Baker/Juliet), Jack Curtis, Vernon Dent, and Natalie Kingston. Obviously, this short had very little in common with the William Shakespeare play, other than the title! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good to fine. There is a tiny piece that is almost completely separated in the bottom right corner. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition.
