An Unfolded Mexican Special Poster (measures 16 1/2" x 19 3/4" [42 x 50 cm]) (Learn More) La Noche Triste (literally translates to "The Night of Sorrows"), the circa 1960s Mexican poster produced by Goodyear, with art by Mauricio Devaux, which depicts the results of a 1520 battle between the army of Conquistador Hernan Cortes and an Aztec army, which took place at the Mexican capital at Tenochtitlan. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Artist: Mauricio Devaux Condition: fair to good. There are some creases and tears of varying lengths (generally 1" or less but some are larger) along parts of some edges. There is discoloration scattered in some areas of the poster from exposure to moisture. Many of the tears or other defects as described above have been repaired with several pieces of tape from the back. The poster was designed with a metal bar to assist in hanging.
