An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Take it from Me, the 1926 William A. Seiter silent inheritance riches-to-rags slapstick romantic comedy ("'Take It From Me' from the famous Broadway stage success by Will B. Johnstone and W.R. Anderson"; a wacky story of a man who inherits a lot of money, and blows it all, but he learns he will inherit a department store if he can run it at a profit for three months, but the store manager sabotages him, and he gives up, and runs the store into the ground, but luck saves him and everything works out in the end!) starring Reginald Denny ("In his first Universal Super Comedy"), Blanche Mehaffey, Ben Hendricks Jr., Lee Moran, Lucien Littlefield, Ethel Wales, Bertram Johns, and Jean Tolley NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been folded! Some pre-1970 insert posters were folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 insert posters (note that most post-1970 inserts were NOT folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those inserts). Note that this item needs to be shipped in an oversized flat package. Some of these items can ONLY be sent in flat packages, and could not possibly be rolled into a tube. On some of them (for example if it is a size that might ordinarily be rolled in a tube, like a half-sheet), the reason it is in this auction is specifically because we feel it either CAN'T be rolled or because we feel it would be a mistake to roll it, because it might well damage the item. In the case of the few items that could be rolled, we will roll the item in a tube if the new owner insists, but only if they accept that they can't return the item if it is damaged from being rolled. So please bear in mind that this item must be sent in a LARGE flat package (the size of the package will depend on the size of the item), and bear this added expense in mind before placing a bid on it. Condition: fair to good. The poster has darkened and it has many scuff marks on back. It has slight discoloration due to exposure to moisture scattered in various areas (mostly at lower left and upper right) and some creases and smudges scattered in a few areas. The paper is somewhat brittle and it will need to be shipped in a flat package. Learn More about condition grades
