And I mean it!'"; "There never was a women like Gilda!") starring Rita Hayworth (in the title role "as Gilda"), Glenn Ford, George Macready, Joseph Calleia, Steven Geray, Joe Sawyer, Ludwig Donath, Robert Scott, and Gerald Mohr AND Platinum Blonde, the classic 1931 Frank Capra romantic comedy (about a poor newspaper reporter who helps a rich heiress, and despite their complete different lifestyles, they marry, but it is a doomed romance, but fortunately, he has best friend Loretta Young, and he finally realizes he loves her in the closing moments of the movie!) starring Loretta Young, Robert Williams (in his final movie role), Jean Harlow, Halliwell Hobbes, Reginald Owen, and Louise Closser Hale. Note that star Robert Williams played the lead in this movie, and seemed that he might have a very promising career, but he developed appendicitis shortly after it was finished, and he died of peritonitis four days after the movie opened! The poster is completely separated along the center horizontal fold (see our image). It is rippled and the remaining folds have substantial separation and are fragile and partially repaired with tape from the back. The poster is in need of restoration. Certainly a top restorer can repair the defects described above, and after, the poster will display really well, but please bear in mind the poster's many defects and the cost of restoration before placing a bid.
