Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (measures 11" x 17"; 8 pages). Also included is a herald that has 4 pages (Learn More)

The Witchmaker, the 1969 William O. Brown satanic cult horror mystery thriller ("Their form is human but they have crossed over... Is this sex after death?"; "The Ansate cross...... Symbol of life, love and death!"; "They came to investigate witchcraft... and found terror!"; "Why did they celebrate a blood ritual?"; "How did they satisfy their weird desires?"; "Was death only the beginning?"; "'The Witchmaker' in terrifying Technicolor-Techniscope") starring Anthony Eisley, Thordis Brandt, Alvy Moore, John Lodge ("as Luther the Berserk"), Shelby Grant, and Tony Benson. Note that this movie was first released in 1969 as The Witchmaker and then was given a 1975 re-release under the title The Legend of Witch Hollow. It was then re-released in 1977 as The Naked Witch. Further, The Witchmaker (under it's original and 1975 re-release title) was often shown alongside another movie called The Naked Witch, a 1964 movie directed by Claude Alexander & Larry Buchanan. Either because of a mistake or "borrowing", re-release posters for The Witchmaker use many of the taglines from the 1964 Naked Witch, but fortunately, those re-release posters have the full credit block for The Witchmaker.

Important Added Info:
Note that when studios would prepare pressbooks they would often include a sample of the herald. Most often, the herald is no longer still with the pressbook. Sometimes, the herald by itself will sell for almost as much as the rest of the entire pressbook! This pressbook contains the original herald which is pictured next to the pressbook below.
Note that this pressbook is part of an amazing collection of 456 different horror/sci-fi pressbooks (our items #5387 through #5842)! The collector who assembled this collection did so over a span of several decades, and to duplicate it would surely take at least that long, if one started today. But on October 30th, every one of these pressbooks will go to a new owner, as all are being sold with NO reserve. Note that this collection spans the years from 1950 to 1972, and just about every single 1950s and 1960s horror/sci-fi movie is represented here. Also note that we have listed them in DATE order (first by year, and then alphabetically within years). This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire rare pressbooks that almost never are offered for sale!

Condition: fine. Note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Since pressbooks were INTENDED to be cut up (the theater owners would cut out the newspaper ads to run in their local papers). It is very difficult to find a pressbook that has NOT been cut, and that ads greatly to their value!

very minor creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the pressbook (mostly along the spine and in the back cover); supplement included with the pressbook is in very nice condition
