An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Up The River, the 1938 Alfred L Werker prison escape crime musical screwball comedy ("Based upon the original story by Maurine Watkins") starring Preston Foster, Tony Martin, Phyllis Brooks, Slim Summerville, Arthur Treacher, Alan Dinehart, Eddie Collins, Jane Darwell, Sidney Toler, Bill 'Bojangles' Robinson, and Edward Gargan. Note that this was apparently a wacky spoof of the crime movies that were so popular in the 1930s, but the movie seems to be completely forgotten today, except by major film buffs.

Condition: good to very good. There is separation at the top and bottom crossfolds and at some of the ends of the foldlines (repaired with tape from the back at the top crossfold). There are creases throughout the poster.
