Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (measures 12" x 18"; 12 pages) (Learn More) All I Desire, the 1953 Douglas Sirk family relationship romantic melodrama ("Now he knew she had known other nights like this!"; "Now he knew her as other men had!"; "Produced by Ross Hunter"; about a woman from the wrong side of the tracks who marries well, but never fits in, and she deserts her husband and two daughters to pursue an acting career but ends up a burlesque dancer and finally returns home to a very mixed reaction!) starring Barbara Stanwyck, Richard Carlson, Lyle Bettger, Marcia Henderson, Lori Nelson, Maureen O'Sullivan, and Richard Long. Note that this movie is not as classic as later Douglas Sirk/Ross Hunter productions, but it includes most of the elements from those, and Barbara Stanwyck gives her usual wonderful "bad girl" performance, two decades after she first started giving them! Since pressbooks were INTENDED to be cut up (the theater owners would cut out the newspaper ads to run in their local papers).
