Bruce Humberstone World War II (WWII) Home Front military romantic musical comedy ("Based on a story by Libbie Block") starring Betty Grable, John Harvey, Martha Raye, Joe E. Brown, Eugene Pallette, Dorothea Kent, Hermes Pan, Doris Merrick, "Skating Vanities" (specialty ice skaters who appeared in this one movie), and Charlie Spivak and His Orchestra. Note that it was natural for Betty Grable to star in this movie, because she was the number one pin-up of servicemen during World War II! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned three in all our years of auctioning and the last time was in 2015, but the example we auctioned in 2012 has been reconsigned to us for this auction, so we have only auctioned a total of three examples of this poster! Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. There are some creases along the foldlines from the poster being oddly folded at one time and there are minor creases and smudges scattered throughout. There is a 1 1/2" tear in the lower right edge and there is some tattering around the edges of the poster (partially repaired with tape from the back). There are tiny dot stains scattered throughout the poster but they are not very noticeable or distracting. The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after restoration it will look fantastic, although I'm sure many collectors would be quite happy with it as it is!
