An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Style A One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Dick Tracy Meets Gruesome (released in other English-speaking countries as "Dick Tracy's Amazing Adventure"), the 1947 John Rawlins action science fiction (sci-fi) detective mystery crime thriller ("Horror man traps super-sleuth!"; "He's enough to scare even Tracy!"; based on the classic newspaper comic strip characters created by Chester Gould) starring Boris Karloff (in the title role as Gruesome), Ralph Byrd (in the title role as Dick Tracy), Anne Gwynne, Edward Ashley, June Clayworth, Lyle Latell, and Skeleton Knaggs (as X-Ray). Note that Ralph Byrd played Dick Tracy in two serials and then in several feature films. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster had an extra vertical fold 1/2" to the right of the regular vertical fold and there was tiny paper loss at some crossfolds, and some tiny dots of paper loss on parts of some foldlines.
