Auction History Result 7h0270 LOT OF 23 UNFOLDED SINGLE-SIDED 27X40 PRETTY WOMAN ADVANCE ONE-SHEETS 1990 Gere, Roberts Date Sold 9/29/2024 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 23 unfolded single-sided 27x40 advance one-sheets from Pretty Woman, the 1990 Garry Marshall Los Angeles California prostitution romantic comedy ("She walked off the street, into his life and stole his heart.") starring Richard Gere, Julia Roberts (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Ralph Bellamy (in his final movie role), Jason Alexander, Laura San Giacomo, and Hector Elizondo. Note that Richard Gere appears in this movie with silver grey hair. Apparently, the producers worried that viewers would be turned off by this, because the standard image that was used on almost all the posters show him and Julia Roberts (actually, it's Shelley Michelle's body with Julia Roberts' head!), and he has dark hair! But they needn't have worried, because the movie was a giant success! IMPORTANT! The lot contains multiple examples of the same poster, so we have only pictured one, but the winner of this auction receives all of them! Measurements: 27" x 40"Condition: good. Note that a distributor wanted to mark these to be thrown away, and they put a 1/2" diameter circular hole in the lower center blank background of all the posters. Please do not bid on these posters unless you can accept this significant defect. We have only pictured one of the posters, but all of them are in similar condition.
