An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Charles Farrell was an actor from the 1920s to the 1950s. He was a major romantic leading star in the 1920s, and he is best remembered for the dozen movies in which he co-starred with Janet Gaynor (they were one of the most successful screen couples ever!). In the 1950s, he had a comeback as the long suffering father of Gale Storm on TV's "My Little Margie". Some of his movies include: Seventh Heaven, City Girl, and The Freshman. He passed away in 1990 at the age of 89. Important Added Info: Note that the back of the still has written in pencil that Farrell will be co-featured with Janet Gaynor in "Budapest". We don't know if that movie was never made, or if it was re-titled (Farrell and Gaynor made 12 films together, but this does not seem to be any of them). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Condition: very good.
