An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Swedish Movie Poster (measures 27 1/2" x 39 1/2") (Learn More) Murder in the Fleet, the 1935 Edward Sedgwick Navy Naval military murder mystery comedy (about a Navy lieutenant on a ship where murders start happening, and he must discover the murderer before the ship reaches port) starring Robert Taylor (in his first starring role), Jean Parker, Ted Healy (most famous as the person who started The Three Stooges; they were first billed as "Ted Healy and his Stooges"; he let them go on their own, hiring replacement "Stooges", but that did not work out well at all!), Una Merkel, Nat Pendleton, and Jean Hersholt NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. There is paper loss in the top blank corners. There is a foreign language snipe in the lower left that is coming very loose. You can see underneath it that it has somewhat discolored the poster, and it would likely take paint restoration to make that area match its surrounding area once the snipe is removed.
