An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Thirty by Forty Movie Poster (measures 30" x 40") (Learn More) The Bonnie Parker Story, the 1958 William Witney AIP biographical bad girl crime film noir thriller ("Cigar smoking hellcat of the roaring thirties!"; "Cannot be seen on TV"; "Filmed in Superama"; "Written & Produced by Stan Shpetner") starring Dorothy Provine (in the title role as Bonnie Parker), Jack Hogan, Richard Bakalyan, Joe Turkel, William Stevens, and Ken Lynch NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this 30x40 has a silkscreen printed poster with an actual color photo which has neatly been "tipped in" (glued to the lower right corner of the poster). This is how almost all 30x40s were made at this time! Paper banners were also commonly made in this way at that time, and it makes for a striking poster, and few people would realize that it is not printed on a single piece, unless they examine the poster closely. Note that the silkscreen portions of this poster usually pick up scuff marks far more easily than other posters of this period (this was caused by the method of silkscreen printing, and is very common on these posters, and is not considered a major defect, unless it is very noticeable or distracting). Condition: very good. There are creases and scuffs around the edges of the poster. There were some tears near the middle of the right border, and three of them extend into the edge of the image of Provine. All three were repaired with tape from the back. This poster was never folded (it was sent rolled in a tube to the poster exchange, and then to the theater, if it was used in a theater). The poster has survived in pretty good condition, but has a few minor imperfections. We may have written a few words about those imperfections, but we may not have, as they are fairly minor, and you can likely see them by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster.
