If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny bits of paper loss in the vertical fold between the middle and bottom crossfolds, and in the center of the bottom horizontal fold. It had pinholes, smudges, and stains in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer chose to paint over all the borders, to "even them out", and either they did not use a white color, or the color has darkened over the years, because the borders are no longer white (see our image). Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
