An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Belgian Movie Poster (measures 23 3/4" x 30 1/4" [60 x 77 cm]) (Learn More)

Apres La Tourmente (literally translates to "After the Turmoil"), the 1930s romantic melodrama starring Andre Nox. Note that we can find very little information about this poster. One source suggests that it is an alternate-language version of the 1929 film Blaze o' Glory. IMDB lists Apres La Tourmente as a French title for that film, and there apparently was a Spanish-language version filmed at the same time and released in 1930. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that this is an ultra rare "pre-War" Belgian poster that we have never auctioned before! Prior to World War II, Belgian posters were much larger than the ones from after the war, and they are extremely rare (because during WWII, there was a massive paper shortage in Belgium, and they took virtually every poster and map, and printed new posters on the backs of them. Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has a few extra horizontal folds, and there are a few inches of separation in the ends of the center horizontal fold (and there is lesser separation at the top and bottom of the vertical foldline). There is tiny paper loss at the center crossfold. It is otherwise in generally nice condition with very vibrant artwork, and after linenbacking with some proper restoration the very rare poster will display quite well!
