An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 10" x 13") (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock's Dial M For Murder, the classic 1954 Alfred Hitchcock 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) romantic love triangle crime murder mystery detective suspense thriller ("...is that you, darling?"; "Written by Frederick Knott who wrote the International Stage Success"; "If a woman answers... hang on for dear life!"; "Is this the man she was waiting for... or the man who was waiting for her?"; "Perfect 3 Dimension in the Hitchcock manner!") starring Ray Milland, Grace Kelly, Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), John Williams, and Anthony Dawson. Note that, although this movie was filmed in 3-D, none of the original posters mention it at all (there is an explanation in the pressbook that because they know many theaters will not show it in 3-D, "the ads have been designed so that the 3D copy may be eliminated" [and obviously, this is why they did not put 3-D on the posters]). Important Added Info: Note that this window card has been heavily trimmed and it now measures 10" x 13" [28 x 33 cm]. Condition: poor. Some theater took this window card and trimmed off the top 40% of it (which included the image of Kelly reaching for the phone). Perhaps they wanted a "lobby card-like" size display, or perhaps they thought the image was too violent! They took the top blank border and taped it to the top of what remained, adding another inch. So the card measures 10" x 13", or 11" x 13" if you count the taped on top blank border. Obviously, this trimmed window card displays well as it is, but it is missing a substantial portion of the original card, so please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored!
