Theaters would order this poster, which has a large blank area where the title of the specific film being shown could be added, thus getting many posters for the price of one. Important Added Info: Note that this 1953 stock poster has the information for 1938's "Pals of the Saddle" overprinted at the bottom of the poster. Of course, Pals of the Saddle is the 1938 George Sherman cowboy western ("Based on the characters created by William Colt MacDonald") starring The Three Mesquiteers (John Wayne, Ray 'Crash' Corrigan, and Max Terhune), Doreen McKay, Joseph Forte, George Douglas, and Elmer (Max Terhune's ventriloquist dummy!) What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor wear on the folds and in the borders. It had two NSS stamps on the back of the lower part of the poster that slightly bled through to the front in the yellow area to the left of the title.
