An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 12" x 18" [30 x 46 cm]; 16 pages) (Learn More)

Clash By Night, the 1952 Fritz Lang romantic love triangle crime film noir ("They called it love! But that isn't what the whole town whispered... nor the ugly name the husband gave it when he found out... too late!"; "'Livin' in my house! Lovin' another man! Is that what you call bein' honest? That's just givin' it a nice name!'"; "Based on the play by Clifford Odets"; "Screenplay by Alfred Hayes") starring Barbara Stanwyck, Paul Douglas, Robert Ryan, Marilyn Monroe, J. Carrol Naish, Keith Andes (billed as "introducing Keith Andes"), and Tony Martin. Note that after Marilyn Monroe's great success at the start of the 1950s, 20th Century-Fox, who had her under contract, wisely found small parts for her in lots of their movies in 1951 and 1952!

Given that theater owners purchased pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut!
