Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Swedish Movie Poster (measures 27 1/2" x 39") (Learn More)

Dragon Seed, the 1944 Harold S. Bucquet & Jack Conway Asian China Japanese-invasion-of-a-Chinese-village melodrama ("MGM's immortal production of the great novel 'Dragon Seed'"; "Based on the novel by Pearl S. Buck") starring Katharine Hepburn, Walter Huston, Aline MacMahon (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Akim Tamiroff, Turhan Bey, Hurd Hatfield, and Frances Rafferty. Note that all of the main cast members were non-Asians and performed in "yellowface" makeup to portray Chinese and Japanese characters.

Condition: fine. There are minor tears and creases in some of the blank borders. There is a diagonal crease in the top right of the image just entering the "D" at the end of the title.
