An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" (8x10) Movie Still (Learn More) The Green Pastures, the 1936 Marc Connelly & William Keighley black African American religious fantasy melodrama (depicting a "black heaven", where only black people went after death, as apparently discrimination in 1936 did not end even at the grave; the movie must be seen to be believed!) starring Rex Ingram (as Adam, De Lawd, and Hezdrel), Oscar Polk (as Gabriel), Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson ( as Noah), Myrtle Anderson (as Eve), Al Stokes (as Cain), and Edna Mae Harris (as Zeba) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good. There are creases in the upper left corner, but otherwise, the still is in nice condition! Note that we show a scan of the front of the still, with a scan of the back of the still beneath it (even if the back is completely blank), so you can see what is on both sides of the still, and also better judge the condition of the still.
