Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had darkened. It had paper loss at the crossfold, with some small paper loss at the ends of the folds. It had paper loss in the bottom right light background area (perhaps a snipe was once glued there). It had pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they replaced the missing paper at lower right in the blank area, although it does not match very well.
