Towering screen triumph!"; "'Nobody takes what's mine!'"; "A picture to remember from Warner Bros."; "Warner Bros.' Towering Triumph"; "No man takes what's mine!"; "The great best seller made greater on the screen by Warner Bros."; "Screen Play by Ayn Rand from her Novel 'The Fountainhead'"; about a dedicated architect who refuses to compromise his principles, regardless of the cost; amazingly, Rand managed to keep much of the essence of her very wordy novel on screen; Rand herself picked Gary Cooper for the lead, and he had a serious affair with his much younger co-star Patricia Neal) starring Gary Cooper (as Howard Roark; "This is his role of roles!"), Patricia Neal (as Dominique Francon), Raymond Massey (as Gail Wynand), Kent Smith (as Peter Keating), Robert Douglas (as Ellsworth Toohey), Henry Hull (as Henry Cameron), Ray Collins (as Roger Enright), and Jerome Cowan (as Alvah Scarret) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that, for unknown reasons, the insert poster from this classic Ayn Rand movie is incredibly rare! We have auctioned many examples of virtually every size poster from this movie, but we have never before auctioned this insert, until we were consigned this example! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The poster was never machine folded, but it was folded across the middle by hand. It has many light horizontal creases scattered throughout, caused by it being roughly handled while it was rolled. It has a few tiny tears and many small creases around the edges. The creases scattered throughout the poster are noticeable, but not distracting, and the poster displays well as it is.
