An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (11x14; LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Gold Diggers of 1937, the 1936 Lloyd Bacon & Busby Berkeley New York City Broadway romantic theater stage show musical comedy ("We're back in the money with a show that's a honey!"; "Musical numbers created and directed by Busby Berkeley") starring Dick Powell, Joan Blondell, Victor Moore, Glenda Farrell, Lee Dixon, Osgood Perkins, and Rosalind Marquis. Note that Dick Powell & Joan Blondell were married the year this movie was made. Also note that Warner Bros. had a giant hit in 1933 with "Gold Diggers of 1933", and they made a sequel to it two years later called, naturally, "Gold Diggers of 1935", which was followed by this third movie. There were also a few other "Gold Diggers" movies made in the 1930s!

Important Added Info: Note that this card has a stamp on the back that indicates it came from the legendary "Cozy Theater" collection!

Condition: very good to fine. There is a faint water stain in the right of the top blank border. The card has darkened slightly (typical of Warner Bros. linen lobby cards of this period). Otherwise, the card is in really nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card!
