East Lynne, the 1931 Frank Lloyd romantic love triangle melodrama ("The Heart Throb of Humanity"; "Soul-Sweeping!... ...Heart-Tugging!"; "Settings by Joseph Urban"; "Fox Movietone Production"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; based on the book by Mrs. Henry Wood; about a woman who throws away her unloving marriage for an affair with a dashing captain, and pays the price) starring Ann Harding, Clive Brook, Conrad Nagel, Cecilia Loftus, Beryl Mercer, and Wallie Albright. Note that there had been twelve silent movies based on this book, but after this sound version, the book was never remade again as a movie!

Important Added Info: Note that this script is the screen continuity script from February 26, 1931 and the screenplay was written by Bradley King & Tom Barry. Also note that the script has "SCREEN CONTINUITY" on the cover, but it is a regular script (this notation was sometimes used in the very early 1930s for regular scripts). Included with the script is a vintage still of Clive Brook from the movie.
