Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Swedish Movie Poster (measures 27 1/2" x 39 1/2") (Learn More) Jailhouse Rock, the classic 1957 Richard Thorpe rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) crime prison romantic musical ("His first big dramatic singing role!"; about a young man who is sent to prison for manslaughter, and while there he is helped to become a singer/musician by an older convict, and after he is released, he becomes a major rock star!) starring Elvis Presley ("At His Greatest"), Judy Tyler (who sadly died in an auto accident before the release of the film), Mickey Shaughnessy, Dean Jones, Jennifer Holden, and Anne Neyland NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This Swedish poster measures 27 1/2" x 39 1/2" and is folded. Condition: very good to fine. the poster has two vertical folds and two horizontal folds; there is tiny separation on two of the crossfolds and a 1" semi-circular tear (no paper loss) on the crossfold that falls in the bottom of Elvis' left leg; there are three tiny tears in the top edge of the poster and one in the middle of the left border; other than the above very minor defects, the poster is in really excellent condition!
