Date Sold 4/20/2014 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 5 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More) The Sea Bat, the 1930 Wesley Ruggles West Indies tropical island romantic love triangle deep sea diving thriller ("A Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer All Talking Picture"; set in the West Indies island of Portuga, a wild story of men diving for sponges and avoiding the manta ray, and an escaped convict posing as a minister) starring Charles Bickford, Raquel Torres, Nils Asther, George F. Marion, and Boris Karloff. Note that they threw everything but the kitchen sink into this movie, and the escaped convict was said to have swam from Devil's Island, which was thousands of miles away! Each still has some degree of trimming around the edges (more so in the one at lower left of our image) and some have small edge tears and scuffs, smudges and/or creases scattered in various areas.
