An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (1p; measures 39" x 55" [99 x 140 cm]) (Learn More) Felicita Perduta (released in the U.S. in 1948 as "Lost Happiness"), the 1946 Filipp Walter Ratti Italian romantic love triangle crime murder melodrama (about two male music students who are both in love with the same woman, and when she chooses one, the other becomes insanely jealous; he leaves and plants a dead body with his clothes so that his former friend will be accused of his murder, and that happens, and the man is arrested and deported to Germany; he returns two years later and discovers his former friend and former girlfriend together, and he kills the man who betrayed him, and now he really is guilty of that man's murder!) starring Leonardo Cortese, Dina Sassoli, Manuel Roero, Giuseppe Porelli, Aroldo Tierei, Adriana De Roberto, and Olga Villi. Note that this film seems to be totally forgotten today, but it has a very intriguing plot, and certainly fits in with the Italian neo-realism right after World War II! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Italian movie! Also note that Italian posters from the first few years after World War II are among the most rare posters there are! Apparently, there were still major paper shortages in Italy, and few posters were printed, and most were recycled. This is an extremely rare first release Italian poster from 1946. Note that this Italian poster WAS folded in half "an extra time", as some Italian posters are. This means it has more folds than those posters which were NOT folded an extra time, but it also means that it can be sent in a standard flat package, while those that were NOT folded an extra time must be sent in a larger flat package that measures approximately 15" x 23". We list the two types separately by how they are folded, so that you can more easily know which kind of shipping each type requires. Condition: good to very good. There is uneven darkening around the edges of the poster (see our image). Otherwise, the poster is in nice condition, especially considering that it is from 1946. Learn More about condition grades
