An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Invasion of the Saucer-Men, the 1957 Edward L. Cahn science fiction (sci-fi) alien horror thriller ("Creeping Horror... From the depths of time and space!"; "See Teenagers vs. The Saucer-Men!"; "See Disembodied hand that crawls...!"; "See Night the world nearly ended...!"; "See Earth attacked by flying saucers!") starring Steven Terrell, Gloria Castillo, Raymond Hatton, Frank Gorshin, Lyn Osborn, and Russ Bender. Note that while few people have fond memories of this movie, everyone loves the wonderful posters created to advertise it, with the goofy "cabbage head" aliens holding a half-clad girl, and with great art of spaceships destroying a city! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Albert Kallis Important Added Info: Note that since the lobby set for this movie does not have a title card, this poster is the only way to get this wonderful image (it is similar to the one-sheet, but works better on this half-sheet, due to a superior layout)! Also note that this poster has never been folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded twice (once horizontally and once vertically) right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded copy of most half-sheets, especially from before 1970! Condition: very good to fine. there are many staple holes across the top and bottom borders; there is a pair of staple holes in the middle of the left border; there are creases and light smudges around the edges of the poster; there are some light creases in the image area (probably caused by the poster being rolled and unrolled), but they are truly not at all distracting. Given that this great poster has only minor defects and is unfolded, I would think that any collector would be thrilled to have it displayed on their wall exactly as is, but if its minor defects bothered anyone, it could be easily be mended by a professional restorer, and the poster would look "perfect"!
