An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Jailhouse Rock, the classic 1957 Richard Thorpe rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) crime prison romantic musical ("His first big dramatic singing role!"; about a young man who is sent to prison for manslaughter, and while there he is helped to become a singer/musician by an older convict, and after he is released, he becomes a major rock star!) starring Elvis Presley ("At His Greatest"), Judy Tyler (who sadly died in an auto accident before the release of the film), Mickey Shaughnessy, Dean Jones, Jennifer Holden, and Anne Neyland NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. The card was backed onto a firm backing. Prior to backing, it had paper loss in the upper right corner and a 2" tear in the center of the top background area. The card was tattered on all the borders. There has been a fair amount of restoration around the edges of the card including in the entire title area, but the image area has had little restoration (other than in the top background area). Overall, the card has had a good deal of restoration around the edges, but looks nice from any distance away. Learn More about condition grades
