An Original 1961 (from the first release of this movie in Poland) Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Polish Movie Poster (23x33; measures 23 1/4" x 32 3/4" [59 x 83 cm]) (Learn More) L'Avventura (released in English-speaking countries either under the original title and as "Michelangelo Antonioni's L'Avventura [The Adventure]", and "The Fling"), the classic 1960 Michelangelo Antonioni French/Italian romantic love triangle mystery crime thriller starring Monica Vitti, Gabriele Ferzetti, Lea Massari, Renzo Ricci, Dominique Blanchar, and James Addams. Note that director Antonioni had been making movies for over ten years before this one (mostly shorts and documentaries), but he completely surprised the world with this groundbreaking movie, which moved at an exceptionally slow pace, with little worry about advancing the plot. Artist: Jan Lenica Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned one in all our years of auctioning and that was in 2011 (and it sold for $380)! Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It was partially folded over at center at one time leaving behind a partial horizontal crease at center. It has creases and tiny tears at upper left and lower right to a lesser extent. The creases, tears and horizontal crease are backed with a thin conservation tape. There is a single tiny pinhole above the window (see our image). It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a simple linenbacking the poster will look great!
