An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More) Gene Raymond was an actor from the 1930s to the 1970s. He was often a leading man, usually opposite one of the strong leading ladies who did not like an equally strong leading man! Some of his movies include: The Best Man, Red Dust, If I Had a Million, and I'd Rather Be Rich. He passed away in 1998 at the age of 89. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Gene Raymond! Our consignor was a good friend of Jim Bawden, who, for many years, was the main movie reviewer for the Toronto Daily Star newspaper. Mr. Bawden passed away recently and our consignor purchased these from his estate. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but given that we know that Mr. Bawden became person friends with many celebrities (and the inscription on this photo is personalized to him), we are certain the signature on this photo is authentic (and the same is true of the other photos from this estate we were consigned). As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a ""lifetime guarantee"" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
