An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Double-Sided One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Henry and June, the 1990 Philip Kaufman biographical romantic melodrama ("A true adventure more erotic than any fantasy."; "From the director of 'The Unbearable Lightness of Being"; "Based on the book by Anais Nin") starring Fred Ward (in the title role; playing a fictionalized version of the famous author Henry Miller), Uma Thurman (in the title role as June), Maria de Medeiros, Richard E. Grant, and Kevin Spacey. Note that this was the first film released with the new "NC-17" rating, which was intended to allow mature films to better find an audience, because it was hoped that newspapers would allow them to advertise (they did not carry ads for X-rated movies), but this failed, because most newspapers refused to carry ads for NC-17 movies, which was a real shame.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this is a double-sided one-sheet. In the 1990s movie posters were sometimes made in double-sided versions (for use in light boxes). If we do not note that a poster is double-sided (as this is), then it is single-sided. Note that the image on the reverse is a mirror image of the image on the front!

Condition: good. scuffing, minor creases, and some smudges throughout the poster (more so along the foldlines and around the edges); minor separation in the bottom crossfold in the woman's leg
