Lawrence; billed as "introducing Peter O'Toole as Lawrence"; which is odd, because he had small parts in several movies prior to this one!), and Zia Mohyeddin NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has a different printer at the bottom than the French one-panel poster we previously thought was from the very first French release (and we had only auctioned that French one-panel once before, and that was 4 years ago). We now think that this poster predates that one (perhaps the movie was so popular immediately on its release that they needed to quickly print more posters. It is of course also possible that the two posters were printed simultaneously, but we think it more likely that this one predates the other. In any event, this poster is incredibly rare, and the only one we have ever auctioned! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny creases and slight darkening on parts of several folds, with pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
