An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Daphne du Maurier's My Cousin Rachel, the 1953 Henry Koster England inheritance murder mystery romantic melodrama ("From the novel by Daphne du Maurier"; "Screen Play by Nunnally Johnson") starring Olivia de Havilland (in the title role as Rachel), Richard Burton (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; in an early role and credited on the pressbook as "the exciting new discovery"), Audrey Dalton, Ronald Squire, George Dolenz, John Sutton, Tudor Owen, and J.M. Kerrigan NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had a long vertical tear in the left of the top border going into the woman's cheek. It had small tears and tiny paper loss on parts of the folds and pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
