Film Flashes: The Wit and Humor of a Nation in Pictures, the 1916 illustrated book from the Leslie-Judge Company, featuring photographs, color artwork, and descriptions of then-current actors and films. Note that we have pictured ten of the two-page spreads from this incredible book, and we wish we could have pictured them all. It was written about movies at a time when movies were just beginning, and yet it includes many of the all-time greatest stars, including Charlie Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks, and Fatty Arbuckle, and much information about D.W. Griffith.

Condition: good to very good. The interior of the book is slightly separating from the hard covers at the spine, but otherwise, it has survived pretty well.
