An Unfolded Commercial Poster (made to be sold directly to the public; measures 27" x 40" [69 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) 20th Century-Fox 75th Anniversary, the 2010 limited edition commercial poster celebrating the 75th anniversary of 20th Century-Fox Studios. 16 of the posters each focus on a specific great Fox film, which are Star Wars, Alien, Zorba the Greek, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Independence Day, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Walk The Line, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Ice Age, Patton, All About Eve, Big Trail, MASH, The Last of the Mohicans, Cleopatra, and X-Men 2 (the 17th poster is a generic poster of the Fox "searchlights" logo). These limited edition posters were made available to collectors with proof of purchase of a 75th Anniversary 20th Century-Fox DVD and they have been out of print for some time! Artist: Jaraad Virani (for Neuron Syndicate) Important Added Info: This poster is one of a set of 17 posters that was created by Warner Bros in 2010 to commemorate their 75th anniversary. Sixteen of them spotlight a different classic 20th Century Fox movie (and the 17th has a giant Fox logo), and they were distributed as described above, and quickly became unavailable! On August 11th, 2013, we were consigned a complete set of all 17 of these posters, and we auctioned them individually, and they sold for prices ranging from $731 (for the Star Wars style) down to $27 (for the Zorba the Greek style), with six of them selling for over $100 each. One would think that these selling for these prices would have caused many people to consign them to us, but in the six months since they were sold, we have only auctioned two more of them. But now, we have been consigned 15 of the 17 posters (the only two that are missing are two of the least interesting ones, the one from Ice Age, and the one with just the Fox logo), and we are auctioning them in separate auctions, and they are in really excellent condition. This is a rare chance to purchase any or all of the 15 of the 17 posters, at one time! Condition: very good to fine. There are some very minor creases around the edges of the poster (mostly from it being stored on end while rolled). The poster is otherwise in very nice condition and it displays well!
