In a matter of minutes they robbed a store, fired a few shots and then stole somebody else's car. At that point, they had not yet been introduced."; "They were the strangest damned gang you ever heard of."; "They put together the strangest damned gang you ever heard of."; "Written by David Newman and Robert Benton"; "Clyde was the leader. Artist: Macario "Mac" Gomez Important Added Info: This Spanish poster measures approximately 27" x 39" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some very minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). Note that we gave this condition grade to a very few posters that were in pretty good condition prior to linenbacking, but which were not all that well linenbacked, and which could be fairly easily re-backed with only minor additional restoration. The poster had paper loss at the top crossfold and tiny creases across the top two foldlines. There was minor wear on the other two folds. There were pinholes in the corners and some stains in the middle of the left blank border. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the tiny defects, but they are really not at all distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
