Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had paper loss at the top and bottom crossfolds and some tears and tiny paper loss scattered in the vertical foldline from the top crossfold to the bottom of the poster, with a lesser amount of wear on the horizontal folds and minor border wear. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restoration of the paper loss was not that well done, and the poster is slightly "lifting" from the linen at the right end of the bottom horizontal fold. Also, the person who backed the poster put two metal grommets in the top corners of the excess linen so the poster could be displayed as it is without a frame (see our image).
