Note that Janette Scott is best remembered for her starring role in this movie, which was immortalized in the lyrics of the song from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" that says "And I really got hot When I saw Janette Scott fight a triffid that spits poison and kills." She divorced her first husband and married Mel Torme in 1966, which pretty much ended her career, as she quickly had two children. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair to good. The poster had many tears, stains, and areas of paper loss around the edges, and there were creases and tiny tears on parts of the foldlines, but other than the many blank border problems, the poster was in surprisingly decent condition. Someone had the wild idea of instead of linenbacking the poster, they simply put masking tape over the ENTIRE back of the poster! I have never heard of anyone doing this before, especially as a "restoration method", but surprisingly, it does not appear to have harmed the poster, and it can be displayed as it is (but it is difficult to lay completely flat due to all the tape, although that would be reduced over time). Of course, a restorer could remove the tape and properly back the poster, please read our description above and look at our super-sized image before placing a bid on this poster.
