An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Forty by Sixty Stage Play Poster (40x60; measures 40" x 60" [102 x 152 cm]) (Learn More) Colette: A Musical, the 1982 Dennis Rosa Broadway musical stage play production ("The 5th Avenue, your ticket to Broadway"; a biography of the famous French author, who wrote "Gigi") starring Diana Rigg (in the title role as Colette), Robert Helpmann, John Reardon, Martin Vidnovic, and Marta Eggerth. Note that this play was originally supposed to star Debbie Reynolds, and the title was going to be "Madame Colette", and the book and music were written by Tom Jones. But then, Debbie Reynolds bowed out, and Diana Rigg was signed, but she was certainly not known for her musical work. The play only ran a little over a month and then closed. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Hilary Knight Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster was never folded and had the most minor of border defects. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and looks great!
